Regular membership in the OPA starts at only $35.00 per year. This entitles you to receive all OPA mailings, attend the annual meeting, and network with other environmentally aware Lakes area residents like yourself. If you’re a summer resident, a membership also helps you make your voice heard year round.

GET INVOLVED
There are lots of ways to support a clean Okoboji if you have time to volunteer. Below are a few programs OPA supports for a clean Okoboji.
CLAMP
Care about clean water and love being out on the lakes? You can help make a difference by volunteering for the Cooperative Lakes Area Monitoring Project (CLAMP) coordinated by the Iowa Lakeside Lab. CLAMP volunteers work in teams to collect and process water samples to check nutrient and algae levels in the lakes, test the lake temperature and oxygen levels, and measure for clarity.
